Training

Children's training emphasizes basic common sense strategies for self defence, developing environmental and intuition awareness, "stranger-danger", and practising basic motor skills used for striking/escaping.

Adult training consists of more traditional methods of partnered combat drills, forms, chi sau (sticky hands) sensitivity training, fighting/self defence strategies, with a gradual increase in the randomness of attacks and partner resistance over time, once the student has developed good body structure and technique flow. Wing Chun training is concept based, and can be applied to any martial art you may already know.

I teach private and semi-private lessons.  In order to keep a more personal attention to each student, I will teach a maximum group size of 4 students at a time.  I will travel anywhere within the Durham region to teach (rates and schedule are dependent on location).
